Thank you very much for your message to the Japanese Reds during the difficult time and the generous donation to the Tsunami appeal.
The charity auction that we held on the 21st of May in Tokyo was a great success. We had around 150 attendees to auction some signed shirts and lots of souveniers donated by Liverpool FC family from all over the world. We raised JPY 377,162 (about 2800 pounds sterling) on that day. We have sent the amount to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Fund via the supporters club account. The total donation of the account is now JPY 1,351,000 (about 10,000 pounds sterling).
Fortunately we have already confirmed that all the supporters club memebers are safe, there are still thousands of people missing and hundreds of thousands of people still living in the evacuation centres in the worst affected areas. Everybody in Japan have been working hard to help those people, but it looks to take more time.
The life elsewhere has not been recovered yet, like in Tokyo some trains and stations have facilities redundant due to the power saving. However, our spirit is high and we will overcome the difficulties.

Fund Raiser for Japan >> UPDATE 2 !!
LSCM is glad to announce the successful COMPLETION of the Fund Raiser held on Sunday, 17th Apr 2011 @ Cobra Club. We record our gratitude to ALL Members & Friends who have contributed in kind for the Auction/Raffle Items & also in cash.. plus your time & support for the event. We remember especially Kwan who conducted the Auction, Norman who organised the event for the night and Ratha for taking the lead for this whole Fund-Raiser.
We are glad to announce that all monies collected from the auction, raffle & donations totalled RM 19,131. LSCM have topped up the amount to an equivalent of about USD 10,130 or JPY 830,000 to be channeled to Liverpool Supporters Club Japan. We trust that the monies will be our small way of helping those who are in need in Japan.
THANK YOU & ARIGATO !!
All monies will be channelled direct to Liverpool Supporters Club Japan, who in turn will send it to Civic Force.
